JOHNNY Depp's security paid a homeless man three tacos, chips and £335 to get the star's phone back after it was hurled off a balcony in a row, the High Court heard today.
Amber Heard, 34, is alleged to have thrown the 57-year-old's phone from their LA apartment during the bust-up when he was late to her 30th birthday.

The Hollywood trial this week heard allegations that the couple rowed when Depp missed part of his wife's birthday celebrations in April 2016.
In an exhaustive 30 hours in the witness box, Depp said he had been late he had just found out he had lost $650million.
And the couple are then alleged to have rowed with the actor claimed to have hurled a magnum of champagne at Heard, grabbed her hair and threw her on their bed, before leaving a note saying “Happy f***ing birthday”.
But Depp claimed Heard had attacked him — before leaving a poo in their marital bed.
Security guard Starling Jenkins today claimed he had headed to the LA penthouse the day after Heard's birthday celebrations, saying the Aquaman star told him she had thrown he then husband's cell phone off the balcony the night before.
The High Court heard today:
- Amber Heard allegedly screamed about being hit by Johnny Depp during an incident at their LA home in 2016
- Depp was filmed “agitated” in a lift after the alleged bust-up
- Security guard Sean Bett said he saw Depp drinking glasses of wine after staying up all night
- Mr Bett claimed Depp had been injured during a bust-up with Heard
- Depp’s former partners Vanessa Paradis and Winona Ryder are now no longer expected to give evidence
He said she had checked the Find My Phone application to locate the device - with it appearing that it was below the balcony.
Mr Jenkins told the court: "I walked out the streets, did not see the phone, and I then asked several homeless people if they had it.
"One homeless man admitted to me that he had the phone, and he returned the phone to me in exchange for the following: (1) US$425; (2) three chicken tacos; (3) two bags of chips; (4) two apples; and (5) four bottles of water."
He said he then took Heard and her friends to the Coachella music festival near Palm Springs.

Mr Jenkins alleged: "During the weekend, I heard Amber frequently express her anger that Johnny did not come to her birthday party on April 21, but she did not say one thing or make any innuendos about allegations of domestic violence.
"She was hooping it up all weekend, and it was clear that she and her girlfriends spent much of the time at Coachella intoxicated."
Heard has denied Mr Jenkins' claims that she vomited during the celebrations, saying it was her sister.
It comes as the trial was today shown footage of Depp appearing to be "agitated" in the lift after his alleged final bust-up with Heard.
Footage showed the 57-year-old rocking back and forth in the lift after he is claimed to have hurled a phone at Heard in May 2016.
The High Court previously heard Depp had gone to the LA penthouse "spoiling for a fight" in May 2016 when he overheard the Aquaman star talking on the phone with a pal about the poo left in their marital bed.
The Pirates of the Caribbean actor is then claimed to have hurled a phone at Heard.
The excrement had been left in the couple's bed in April 2016 - with Depp saying it was a "fitting end" to the relationship.
'EXTREMELY AGITATED'
Depp's security guard Sean Bett today said the star, who was seen wearing a cowboy-style hat in the footage, had been "extremely agitated" after the alleged bust-up in May.
He said he had never seen Depp behave like that before, saying he was "moving back and forth in the lift".
The bodyguard said that Depp had told him Heard punched him after the star was late to his wife's 30th birthday party in April 2016.
Pirates of the Caribbean actor Depp has denied the claims of violence against Heard and is suing The Sun for referring to him as a “wife beater” in a 2018 article.
The Sun, supported by Heard, says the term was justified.
